God Made a Farmer Concept Lunch with Gatlin Didier

About a year ago - Bullnanza I met Gatlin, Gate Bart and Granny from the Didier Ranch in Western Oklahoma. You talk about one amazing group of people!! A little backstory… Granny is obviously the matriarch of the family with Gatlin and Bart being the grandkids. Gatlin and Bart if I am correct are cousins. If you don’t follow GatlinDider, Gatebart and Grannybibbins on Instagram you are truly missing out. They are farmers, ranchers and bring a level of clean wholesome comedy to the world that we truly need. In addition they are Christians and aren’t afraid to talk about it in their posts. They are amazing to say the least.

Fast forward now.. I have had lunch with Gatlin a couple of times since we met at Bullnanza last year and it is always a blast. We have a lot in common and it’s just easy conversation. For about a year now I have been thinking about a concept shoot I have wanted to do but just didn’t have the right partner to get it done. Around Christmas I was thinking about it again and it came to me…. why am I not pitching this to Gatlin?? Yes he has tons of followers and probably get tons of ideas pitched to him but I thought what the heck. What can you lose outside of being told no thanks. Well… I laid out my idea of a photoshoot on their farm with images all in Black & White and set to Paul Harvey’s 1978 - God Made a Farmer he gave at the Future Farmers of America Convention. If you haven’t heard it you should so go look it up.

The lunch went well and we came up with a plan to do the shoot in early March and then the work to piece it all together and then launch it in a combined effort.

I have done numerous projects but this one I have to admit is the one I have looked forward to the most. It’s truly bigger than me, Gatlin, Bart, Granny….. any one single person. My vision is to put something together that truly recognizes the amazing farmers in our county and gives them the recognition they deserve. They are an amazing group of people and don’t get the credit they deserve. Be watching in the near future for the release.

GOD BLESS OUR FARMERS……..
